AOTD: Guerrilla artists at it again!
Woah, Plastic Bag Animals:
"The story we heard at dinner tonight is that there's an artist who's been making these animals out of discarded plastic bags. He (or she) ties the bags to the ventilation grates above the subway lines so that when the subway rushes through underneath, the animal jumps up and springs to life."

Cocktail Survey
Since Annie's cake survey was so wildly successful (Red Velvet it is!), I thought I'd throw another one out there for my upcoming party. So what's it gonna be, White Wine Spritzers, or Spiked Pink Lemonade?

AOTD: Photoreactive Sun Canopy
AOTD: "Project OR" by architect Christoph Klemmt and Ran Ankori, Francesco Brenta, Maya Carni, Laura Micalizzi and Elisa Oddone. It's made from photoreactive material that lights up green and blue when exposed to sunlight, and casts shadows on the walls in an Italian courtyard on Milan's Via Borgospesso. From the 2008 Milan Furniture Fair. {via craft, more photos at Inhabitat}
