After being told we couldn't bring our purses in (whaaaat?), a $9 shot, and wading through a crowd of more white dudes than I had ever thought possible....we saw the D. I was real excited, and I'm giving it a C-. Mostly due to gay-satan. Yeah, it was awesome, compared to bullshit. No it was still good because I love the D.

Sometimes I wonder if loving mansions is just a phase....nawh! I just came across this totally fantastic French manse...the Chateau de Chambord:

These were supposed to be mini-chocolate-cherry-filled cakes with while polka-dots on them, but that plan quickly turned into betty crocker cupcakes with frosting and powdered sugar. They still looked cute! I swear my mini-cake vision will still happen some day!

This is about as bad as artists get. And particularly appropriate considering seattle is totally freaking out over the olympic sculpture park - the new home to Richard Serra's Wake. Also to be noted: WWU has a Serra that regularly gets vandalized. This is a much better idea.
